I have shown already in the parts of the Khoodeelaar! response to the UK MPs ‘Crossrail Bill’ Select Committee [published on the Khoodeelaar.com news pages in the past week] that they have been colluding with lying by the vested City of London and Big Business interests that want to push through the Crossrail Bill as it is. I have shown also that there is no evidence on which the Committee’s assertions as relating to the Hanbury Street hole objectors can be justified or treated as tenable or true.
Here I am going back to Friday 10 June 2005, more than Sixteen months before 11 October 2006. On Friday 10 June 2005, I had written to the Department for Transport and addressed the Crossrail Bill team based in the Department. In my letter, written as part of the Khoodeelaar! legal arguments against Crossrail Bill, I had anticipated that the Crossrail agents disguised as a so-called independent wing of the allegedly sovereign and independent UK parliament, would be used as nothing more than as a rubber stamp that it always had been intended to be and it was bound to be.
In the revised update of the Khoodeelaar! statement issued this week, I have stated the following version of my original statement made to the DfT on 10 June 2005.

“
We, the Khoodeelaar! campaign against CrossRail hole Bill [as described and defined in these communications and legal action notices served on the Secretary of State for Transport in the UK] confirm that the personnel who are supposed to answer calls made to the so-called Crossrail help desk have lied and if they have not lied they have been intellectually at sleep or been incapacitated mentally to such points as to frustrate any reasonable attempts at exchanging any intelligent set of facts with them.
”

How accurate has the Khoodeelaar! campaign analysis been of the Crossrail hole company can be found in the Khoodeelaar! legal notice served on the Department for Transport’s ‘Crossrail Bill Team’ on 10 June 2005.
That was a full one year BEFORE the Crossrail Bill ‘Select Committee, tokenistically chaired by small-time parliamentarian Alan Meale obstructed the presentation of evidence by the loyal petitioners who wanted to put on the record their opposition to the Crossrail Bill as it affects the Brick Lane and Whitechapel London E1 area.
Khoodeelaar! campaign did not ‘petition’ the CRASSrail select committee.
As has been stated on dozens of occasions, the reason being that the Khoodeelaar! campaign did not accept [and shall not accept] the pro-Crossrail hole propaganda line that the Crossrail Bill Select Committee was an independent entity, independent from the de facto control and the influence of the UK Government.
It was therefore nothing that the Khoodeelaar! campaign put before the Crossrail hole Bill Select Committee that that bogus Committee has now referred to in its ‘decision’ dated 11 October 2006 when it says that there have been exaggerations made of the negative effects on the community of the Crossrail hole in the Hanbury Street.
So who or what factual evidence could the Crassrail Select Committee be basing their assertion about exaggeration on? Definitely not on the evidence that many of the ‘petitioners’ presented to the same committee during June 2006 which presentations were observed by the Khoodeelaar! campaign.
Most of the presentations were extremely loyal. In the sense that the presenters behaved in the language they used, in the examples they cited and in the sources they implied as the bases of their presentations, were exceedingly ‘British'-centric, totally accepting of the roles of Government and with not a single iota of doubt about the assumptions of powers and rights made by the executive.
Yet the Crossrail select committee, as chaired by the small time parliamentarian Alan Meale, repeatedly stopped even those presentations which made the slightest reference in particular to facts or implied the existence of possible evidence that might challenge or expose the assumptions underlying the fundamentally flawed conceptions of the Crossrail hole Bill and plan.
This included the interruptions against the already limited and self-restricted presentations made by George Galloway, ‘the local MP for Bethnal green and Bow’ constituency which includes the Brick Lane and Whitechapel London E1 area.
So Alan Meale’s committee has been complicit in the lying for Crossrail hole plan from the start. The ‘start’ in this context being the start of the factual key submissions by the formally listed objectors from the Brick Lane and Whitechapel London E1 area to the contents and the implications of the Crossrail hole Bill.

Khoodeelaar! No to Crossrail hole Bill Select Committee of MPs

This is the second part of the Latest response to the pathetic Crossrail hole Bill Select Committee


The Khoodeelaar! response to the latest pack of lies [11 October 2006] against the East End by the Crossrail hole Bill ‘Select Committee’ in the UK House of Commons has been prepared by using the facilities of the AADHIKAR Media Foundation.
In the course of this response, particular attention will be paid to the corrupting recommendation by the Poodles committee that the Crossrail hole-imposers on the Hanbury Street set up a public relations and propaganda outfit with the further collusion of the Tower Hopeless Council. The idea behind that set up will be to tell more lies to the community that is being attacked! The AADHIKAR investigative report on that will contain the extent to which the CRASSrail Bill Committee has been abusing its ‘position in parliament’ to lie for the Big Business elements behind the uneconomic and grotesquely wasteful project


What has the ‘Crossrail Bill’ ‘Select Committee’ of UK MPs said should happen about the Crossrail hole plot on the East End? The brief answer is that it has backed the plan to dig a hole for Crossrail in the Hanbury Street.
Why is this objectionable? The brief answer is that it will, the Crossrail hole in the Hanbury Street will cause such huge disruptions to life in the area that it will destroy the centre of business and community as we have known it .
The CrossRail Bill ‘Select Committee’ was itself told this in quite extensive detail. Even by those objectors to the Bill who did not necessarily realise the massive impact the Bill would have on the area. They objected about and for and from their own individual patches as those were affected by the planned Crossrail plot. But even those showed beyond any shadow of a doubt that the Crossrail hole would devastate the area. Now, in the latest relevant ‘report’ dated 11 October 2006, the Select Committee has said that many of the CrossRail hole effects have been ‘exaggerated’ by opponents of the Hole Bill.
How do the Select committee know that any concern is exaggerated?
What evidence have they to say that? The answer is: they have none.
And just so that they would not be able to show this kind of untruthfulness, the Khoodeelaar! Campaign had organised several demonstrations in May 2006 when members of the same select committee paid a ‘location visits’ and walked across the Brick Lane and Whitechapel London E1 area.

The crass contents in the ‘East End Lies’, the so-called free newspaper, published by the controlling clique on Tower Hopeless Council by continuing to abuse the implied mandate of the electors of the East End Borough – an analysis and commentary on the photographs and ‘reports’ in the latest edition of the ‘East End Lies’ allegedly celebrating the 70th anniversary of the battle against racism – just how corrupt can the ‘East End Lies’ ‘editorial’ decision-makers be… The photographs and the reports are NOTHING whatever to do with any opposition to racism.. The package published across two pages of the ‘East End Lies’ dated Monday 16 October 2006, is an immoral and shameless self-promotion for the controlling clique on Tower Hopeless and their disrespect to the East End struggles against racism. The distance between 2006 and 1936 as grotesquely reinforced by the controlling clue and their own cronies in parts of the local community is not only seen ion the fact that the East End Liars have no ethical preparedness to see that the fight against Mosley and his ‘followers’ was a fight essentially against racism.. The East End Liars linked with the controlling clique on Tower Hopeless make a distinction between racism and fascism. In doing so they in fact defy the memories of the opponents of racism. How the Murdoched-'Sunday Times', London, has got it wrong again about Railway transport in the UK -
The Muhammad Haque Political commentary diagnoses the sickness at the very heart of the lying British media in hock to Big Busiest and their assorted touts and peddlers installed in every single 'media location' and outlet-
The item ‘Gridlock strangles the UK economy’ in the Sunday Times, London Sunday 15 October 2006, is sub-headed “Transport woes stymie growth”.
But the piece is as dishonest, inconsistent as ever. It is based on a pack of slogans. It is a propaganda piece for the greedy pushers who want to grab hold of public money to boost private profit at the expense of ordinary public.
It is full of contradictions. In one paragraph it is appearing to be arguing for improved public transport and the next it is condemning, rejecting, undermining the very idea of public sector role in the implementation of legitimate growth in the UK economy.
In between the contradictions the Murdoch-Sunday Times is sneaking in an incoherent series of plugs for Crossrail.
Like the Crossrail hole project itself, the Sunday Times is illogical, callous.
And it is full of lies.
Lies that the likes of Crossrail hole plan fanatic ‘Baroness’ Valentine, of the ‘London First, a business lobby group set up in 1992’, need and rely on for their own petty, pathetic parasitic professional benefit.
The Murdoched-Sunday Times is concealing the real purpose for their publication of the piece, the promotion of road transport that a large part of the Big Business wants to expand…
In the patchy and incoherent reference to CrossRail, the piece constructs neither a head nor tail of what London’s transport economy was supposed to be in context and how the alleged CRASSrail line was supposed to deliver what productivity, meet what demand and provide what evidence of cost-efficiency.
. It is demonstrably written by a number of automated press releases manually pasted in so that it would let someone claim a by-line. There is no reference to the existing profile of the economy. No true record of what constitutes a transport infrastructure. No discussion of the main basis of the economy, the human resource. No examination of the demography of the sectors or of the zones of the economy. No evaluation of the studies if the Sunday Times [collectively]'knows' what studies are – of the transport crisis ‘Choking up Britain’ and grid locking the UK economy. Let alone examine London , far less even recognise the East End of London where the CRASSrail hole assault is being mounted.
